Topics that will be covered: Grabbing YouTube videos for safekeeping past the time they are on the YouTube server; various methods for placing video and audio in Blackboard; methods for embedding video and audio on HTML pages via Dreamweaver; methods for placing video and audio in PowerPoint that ACTUALLY work; review of the basic copyright rules for the web and Blackboard; information about streaming video at Cal Poly to provide content for all students no matter their Internet connection speed; ADA considerations; a review of software tools for instructional video demos; and methods for capturing legal snippets of commercial video for online posting.
